Commemorating The Great War at Rufford Abbey Country Park

Mini-Marquee Hire Nottingham had a wonderful day at Rufford Abbey Country Park providing stalls for an event commemorating The Great War. The event was put on by Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire Heritage Forum celebrating 100 years since The Great War and remembering Nottinghamshire during that time.

We provided twelve of our 3m x 3m Premium Mini-Marquees along with twenty two 8ft rectangular tables and twenty four chairs for the stall holders who were there on that day showcasing a wide range of demonstrations, stories, quizzes, competitions and fascinating displays with artifacts telling the story of life in Nottinghamshire during WWI. There was so much to enjoy and the event allowed people to step back in time to life in Nottingham during WWI.

50th Birthday Celebrations, Wollaton, Nottinghamshire

Mini-Marquee Hire Nottingham had a lovely day in Wollaton creating this beautiful outdoor venue for a very special 50th birthday party. The customer was celebrating turning 50 from the comfort of their own home but needed to ensure there was plenty of space for the 40 guests to be able to sit down and enjoy the food and drinks they had on offer. We provided one of our 5m x 5m White Georgian windowed Mini-Marquees along with 40 folding chairs, five 8ft tables, heaters and lights. The Mini-Marquee was erected by us on Friday and dismantled by us on the Monday to ensure the whole hire process was hassle free for the customer.

65th Birthday Celebrations, Sutton-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire

Mini-Marquee Hire Nottingham had a brilliant day working in Sutton-In-Ashfield this weekend where we provided one of our 6m x 3m Mini-Marquees for a very special 65th birthday party. The customer hired one of our Premium Mini-Marquees along with fifteen folding chairs and two 8ft rectangular tables, we erected the marquee on Friday and collected it again on Monday. The customer informed us the party was a huge success and everyone had a great time!

Super Sweet 16

BBQ Garden Party Gunthorpe

Mini-Marquee Hire Nottingham spent a lovely day in Gunthorpe providing two marquees for a BBQ garden party. We fitted together one of our 6m x 3m Premium Mini-Marquees to our uniquely shaped 6m x 6m hexagonal Mini-Marquee to create a large sheltered area. West Bridgeford Wedding

Mini-Marquee Hire Nottinghamshire had the fanatastic oppertunity to create this gorgeous outdoor space for a simple but beautiful intimate wedding for a happy couple and their 40 guests.

We joined together two of our 6m x 3m Premium Mini-Marquees to create a large rectangle outdoor venue, we provided carpet flooring and four 5ft round tables along with 40 chairs so that the couple and their guests could sit down comfortably and enjoy the wedding breakfast and speeches.

It’s always an honour to be able to be part of such a special day and we’re so pleased to say that the day was a huge success and they were more than happy with our Mini-Marquees.

Wedding celebrations in Bingham

Market stalls at Welbeck Farm Shop

The team at Mini-Marquee Hire Nottingham travelled to Welbeck to erect an abundance of marquees for a beautiful market. The event was organised and hosted by the Welbeck Farm Shop, that run numerous events each year; with the two main popular ones being at Easter and Christmas.

It’s one of the most popular events in the area and thousands of people attend each year to come view all the great fresh produce. The market stalls included extra special handmade gifts and carefully selected artisan food products. There included artisan cheese, bread, condiments and Welbeck Farm’s well-known ‘RAW milk’ stalls.

the welbeck farm shops christmas farmers marketWe started to get everything ready the day before to make sure we had it all ready to set up on the morning. First of all, we had to get all sixteen of the marquees into two vans as they wouldn’t have fit in just one. So we put all the small marquees into the small van with a few of the weights and we put the bigger marquees in the big van which took up half of the van already with loads more equipment to still load up. Once the marquees had been secured, next thing to go in was the 25kg base weights; which was tiring work. This is when it became troublesome, with both vans nearly full and we still had all the sides to get in and the rest of the hard standing kits; but luckily enough we got everything in.

The Welbeck Farm Shop Christmas Farmers' Market 2016Early start for the team when we arrived on site at 8 in the morning to set everything up before the general public started to turn up. In total it must have taken us about 4 hours to drive to the location and to set everything up. When we arrived on site we had to unload both vans near to where they were being set up. Then we got to setting the marquees up. The first bit we did was the main circle of 6m x 6m hexagon marquees in the centre of the courtyard. This is was going to be the centrepiece of the market where all of the main stalls will be placed. Next, we put up the four 3m x 4.5m marquees, 2 linked together near the entrance of the farm shop and 2 linked together on the opposite side of the courtyard next to the gallery entrance. Then lastly we had five of our 3m x 3m marquees a just around the back of the cafe near to the garden centre entrance that would each be used as separate stalls.

90th Birthday Party in Mansfield Woodhouse

We aim to always go the extra mile for our customers, but on this particular job the customer went the extra mile. They were throwing a surprise birthday party for their dad and they had hired three marquees for the weekend, two of which were going near the house and the other one is where they went the extra mile. They had built their very own stage on their back garden. It was 6 metres long and 3 metres wide, and about 1.5 metres high. Then we had erected the marquee on top of it. It looked absolutely amazing.
